Ami completed her Masters of Science in Nutrition at Bastyr University along with undergraduate degrees in Geosciences and Environmental Sciences. Her focus in teaching nutrition is to improve the health of our community by helping people choose foods that will benefit their bodies while also improving the health of our greater environment. Ami created the nutritionally-dense snacks Yummy Mummy Cookies and has worked with many companies to improve recipes for their own businesses. She teaches cooking classes and is a nutrition instructor for Cancer Lifeline as well. Ami's specialties include but are not limited to oncology (cancer), maternal health, and plant-based nutrition.
